Shiv Prasad Gupta wants his tenant Vinod Singhal to marry one of his three marriageable age girls. However, Vinod falls in love with his office colleague Manju. This angers Gupta and he vows to take revenge.

Utpal Dutt stars as Chaudhry, a landowner who comes to town looking to get his daughter Sunita (Zarina Wahab) married to the son of his childhood friend Khanna. The next day, Jai meets the owner`s daughter Kimi, and falls in love with her.
